Dave grew up in Long Island and learned to make bagels while in college and has since used that expertise to gain employment on the West Coast.
Leah started working in a sandwich deli at 15. Following an MBA and years of experience at Kettleman Bagels, she opened Henry Higgins Boiled Bagels. Her goal; teach Portland what a properly baked and boiled bagel is all about.
She bakes, manages the books and greets customers. Her approach to business is full commitment of her time and energy. During the two hours she isn't working in the bakery or retail store, you can find her by the river recharging.
